Guerilla Opera Project presents Josh Carr, tenor in recital. Mr. Carr has been hailed as one of the brightest rising young tenors in New York. A Brooklyn native, Mr. Carr’s voice has been heard all over the country, as well as in Europe and most recently in Beijing, China.
He also performs with Remarkable Theater Brigade and Brooklyn composer, Christian McCleer.

This recital features music of Respighi, Lotti, Tosti, Schubert, Satie, and Leonard Bernstein.
The highlight of the afternoon will be his performance of Benjamin Britten’s immortal Serenade.

The performance will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2PM in the Gershwin theater on the campus of Brooklyn College, 2900 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.
