Music has been a part of Josh Borders’s life since he was a young boy jamming to Led Zeppelin and Crosby, Stills, and Nash on his mother’s record player with a toy guitar. He began playing guitar in 9th grade and has been playing and singing steadily for over 12 years.
Most recently he was the singer, guitarist and songwriter for the band Hot Like Cajun. The band entertained all over the southeast and played at Camp Jeep with Tim McGraw and the B-52’s. Josh also had the privilege of jamming live onstage with legendary guitarist Robert Randolph.
Josh’s new solo project incorporates the best of Hot Like Cajun – blues-rooted rock and roll all soaked and tweaked for an acoustic guitar. He uses a loop pedal to add rhythmic layers and textures that will leave you stomping your feet and wanting more. Fans of blues, rock, folk, and funk should find something to like. Come out to what promises to be a great show.
