Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat May 26, 2007

This musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice is based on a biblical story. Joseph, a young man with a knack for having prophetic dreams - and the favorite son in the family - incurs the jealousy of his brothers when he is given a magnificent coat of many colors by his doting father. Joseph's brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt, where his special gifts save the country from famine and eventually secure him a position as the Pharaoh's right-hand man. In due time, his is reunited with his now contrite and guilt-ridden brethren.
