Jo's 14th Annual Pet Parade March 30, 2013

Jo’s Coffee announces the 14th annual pet parade and costume contest - a celebration of family, friends and of course our favorite four-legged friends. The pet parade will benefit Austin Pets Alive! (www.austinpetsalive.org) and pay tribute to animal lover Lyndon Lambert (www.georgesf.com).

When & Where: The parade will kick-off at 12pm on Saturday, March 30 at the corner of South Congress and Annie Street and end at Jo’s Coffee on 1300 South Congress.

What: Bring your pet in costume – the crazier the better. We will parade down South Congress with a marching band. The judging will begin promptly after the parade in the Jo’s lot and top awards for the best dressed pets include a night at the Hotel San Jose, Jo’s Coffee gift cards, trophies, and more!

How: Pets can be pre-registered through Friday March 29 at Jo’s Coffee on South Congress or at joscoffee.com. Registration is $10 in advance and $15 the day of the parade. Pets can be registered the day of the event from 10 to 11:30 am at the corner of Annie and South Congress – parade leaves promptly at noon.

What Else: There will be live music, an Easter bunny, an Austin Pets Alive! dog adoption center and info booth, local pet-friendly vendors, and concessions available from Jo’s. No pets required – spectators always welcome!
