Modern Muse is delighted to present the Denver premiere of Joni Sheram's boisterous, acclaimed one-woman show, "Cups." Sheram's comedy reveals the history and marks a variety of women's rites of passage through
their bras; from the training bra through the mastectomy-bras. Who knew the memories tucked away in a strapless or push-up bra? What does the burned bra of the 60's have to tell us? Intimate details are shared in a series of delightful and moving tales that mirror changes in society while
interweaving a very personal journey.
Joni Sheram is an actress, playwright and coach. She has written for the stage, television and the big screen. While a high school teacher, Joni has performed in hundreds of show throughout the Pikes Peak region
as part of murder mystery theatre. As a trainer with the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation, Joni traveled the country for their "Community of Caring" program. Her involvement with "Earthseeds Project" a program
