Lethem's newest novel - 'You Don't Love Me Yet' centers on a relationship created by the establishment of a complaint line as a performance installation in an art gallery. Lucinda, a complaint-line operator, crosses the line with a frequent caller known simply as "the complainer" and the fallout affects everything in her life, or, possibly, nothing at all.
