This young group wasted no time getting started, releasing their debut EP, "The Beginning", in the summer of 2010. "The Beginning" quickly gathered critical acclaim from press and fans alike. The band received praise from AbsolutePunk and was named in the Absolute 100 bands you need to know. Journey's shoes decided to pick up the bands video "Like a Million Lights" and feature the video in all Journeys stores nationwide. Other retailers quickly caught the buzz of This Love and Hot Topic placed their EP "The Beginning" in stores nationwide. This Love had a huge 2010, from being featured on the front page of Substream Magazine, and being a regularly featured band on Purevolume, to being featured on Fearless Radio, Dj Rosstar, The Gunz Show, and much more. The band also found time to play shows with bands such as Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Let's Get It, Cute is What We Aim For, The Bigger Lights, Friday Night Boys, House of Heroes, and played Journey's Backyard BBQ.
2011 is expected to be an even bigger year for This Love, as they plan the release of their sophomore album, "At War". This is a full concept album on the conflict between love and hate; man vs himself This Love is based simply around living with passion. Reviving rock 'n' roll so that listeners can relate to the music and lyrics, and in doing so find inspiration to love and live the way they truly want. So with that, what is your love? Get out there and be a light. The world needs you
