He has supplied voice acting talent in several animated series including the lead character of Jay Sherman on The Critic, and animated movies. A fan favorite on Saturday Night Live, Jon earned two Emmy Nominations during his stint on the hit show. One of his most notable SNL characters was "Tommy Flanagan, The Pathological Liar" that generated the catch phrase, "Oh Yeah! That's the ticket!" Some of his other recurring characters included Master Thespian, Tonto, Satan, Hanukkah Harry and Michael Dukakis. Lovitz succeeded Phil Hartman on the comedy series News Radio following Hartman's death and has also appeared in over 30 movies.
