Join comic Lewis Black, artist Shepard Fairey, playwright Eve Ensler, MC4 guitarist Wayne Kramer and others for the world premiere of Let Fury Have the Hour followed by a conversation about the power of artistic expression as part of the Tribeca Film Festival’s Tribeca Talks: Globalize Your Thinking panel series, sponsored by OppenheimerFunds, on Monday, April 23 at 5:30 PM at SVA Theater 2, located at 333 West 23rd Street (between 8th and 9th Avenue), Manhattan.
The documentary brings together more than 50 notable artists, musicians, writers and thinkers who used their creativity as a response to the reactionary politics that came to define American culture in the 1980s, tracing a momentous social history from the 1980s to today and imparting a message of hope.
The Tribeca Talks panel series brings film enthusiasts together with some of the biggest name directors, actors and industry leaders to explore a wide array of topics and spark a richer dialogue about film.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.tribecafilm.com/festival/tickets starting April 16.
