John Scofield New Quartet October 24, 2011

Possessor of a very distinctive sound and stylistic diversity, guitarist John Scofield is a masterful jazz improviser whose music generally falls somewhere between post-bop, funk edged jazz, and R&B. Since 1978, he has prominently led his own groups in the international Jazz arena and recorded over 30 albums as a leader. The New Quartet features Mulgrew Miller (piano) Ben Street (bass) and Kendrick Scott (drums).
