The Nature of Wildworks,a non-profit wildlife education organization located in the Santa Monica Mountains, is hosting a benefit at the historic King Gillette Ranch, 26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas.
The program will include a live performance of John Muir Among the Animals by Lee Stetson; a bluegrass concert by Mollie Hogan, Mike Martsolf, Devitt Feeley, and Bob Burris; and a presentation of some of the wild and exotic animals housed at Wildworks. The cost is $20 per person. Parking is onsite and is $5 a car.

Lee Stetson is well known for his portrayals of America’s foremost naturalist and conservationist, John Muir. These productions, with Lee Stetson in the title role, have been presented in Yosemite National Park since 1983 to more than a quarter of a million visitors. Additionally, Lee Stetson’s John Muir shows have toured throughout the country to universities, parks, museums, wilderness and environmental organizations from Washington D.C. to Hawaii. He is featured in Ken Burn’s upcoming PBS special, “Our National Parks: America’s Best Idea.”
