Guitarist John McLaughlin brings his electric band, the 4th Dimension, to the Rialto stage for the first time, and the performance promises a debut not to be missed. Considered by many to be among the finest guitarists of all-time (he performed with the likes of Miles Davis), McLaughlin, ever the innovator, has delved persuasively through the years into everything from flamenco to classical to “post-fusion” hybrids, and he has now assembled a stellar outfit to interpret his latest musical direction.
