JOHN HEFFRON BIO Since winning NBC's hit reality series "Last Comic Standing", John Heffron has covered the country non-stop, headlining comedy clubs, colleges and theatres across the country. Heffron just announced the anticipated release of his third comedy CD The Better Half (available now), and Comedy Central recently premiered his half-hour special "Comedy Central Presents: John Heffron.". The newly married 33-year-old comic is seeing the many payoffs of his hard work, recently nabbing a development deal with ABC for his own sitcom. Heffron started his comedy career as a student at Eastern Michigan University, skipping night classes to perform stand-up comedy. After making his way to graduation, he took to the mike and made stand-up his full time job. He found that college audiences could relate to his material about life in college, retro music and Pop Rocks, making him a hit on college campuses, He recorded his first comedy CD, Kid With A Cape, and later went on to release a second comedy CD Good Kid, Bad Adult. John has made numerous television appearances including NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show", his own half-hour "Comedy Central Presents" special, and many others. In addition, he has performed at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as well as the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen. Also a creative entrepreneur, John (along with partner Joel Zimmer), created a card game called the "That Guy!" game which put girls on a scavenger hunt for guys (www.thatguygame.com). The game went on to be featured in Glamour, InStyle and Entertainment Weekly. With his television success and high profile projects in the works, John is well on his way to being "That Guy who has his own show." # # #
