Joe Nipote comedy SLAM December 18, 2010

Joe Nipote's comedy SLAM, A Night of Slammin' Standup Comedy! presented by Mars Advertising and EMC. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Forgotten Harvest, metro Detroit's only mobile food rescue operation, rescuing more than 19 million pounds of fresh foods last year.

Performing will be Joe Nipote who has made appearances on HBO, Showtime and MTV; Brian Kiley from Conan O'Brian; Jimmy Shubert from Comedy Central; Bob Nelson from HBO, Letterman and The Tonight Show; Danny Cole from NBC and Las Vegas and Ron Pearson from Lopez Tonight. Additional appearances will be made by WDIV'S and WOMC'S Chuck Gaidica and The Simone Vitale Band. There will also be a VIP after-party with food, drinks, live auction and more!

The event takes at the Ford Community Performing Arts center in Dearborn, Mich. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Show begins at 6:30 with the Simone Vitale Band. Joe Nipote's comedy SLAM begins at 7 p.m.
