Job Search and Networking Basics - The Art and Science of Job Search Seminar Series

JobsPlus and the Workforce Development Board of Okaloosa and Walton Counties will conduct the seminar series “The Art and Science of Job Search – What your competition doesn’t know” every other Thursday beginning on January 21 and running through March 25. This six seminar series will include the topics: Job Search and Networking Basics – January 21, Civil Service and Online Applications – February 4, Resumes for Today’s Job Search – February 18, Interviewing Strategies that Work – March 4, The Art of Negotiation and Job Retention – March 18, and will conclude with an Employer Question and Answer Panel on March 25. Seminars will be hosted at the Crestview JobsPlus One-Stop Career Center located at 212 N Wilson St, Crestview, FL 32536. Seminars will start at 5:30 PM and will conclude at about 7:00 PM. The Employer Question and Answer Panel will include a reception and the opportunity to network with human resource specialists representing local businesses and ask questions.
