Looking for a job at 50+ is not easy.

A generation of older adult workers is finding it difficult to land a job. Because the job market has changed, it's not enough to focus on what you have done in the past. Employers want to know what you offer now.

Fidel Sanchez, the class facilitator, will guide the group to discover ways to tweak their approach to job hunting. He will discuss the use of the latest social media technologies and the importance of updating employable skills. Fidel will share some of the latest research findings and how to creatively respond when told “you are overqualified.”
