A decade ago Godard filmed this documentary self-portrait that embraced his thoughts on the cinema at the time, and also on music, painting, literature, memory, money, philosophy, the Alps, and even tennis. As with all his essays, JLG/JLG delivers hardnosed judgments on the age in which we live, yet reaffirms his steadfast ethical resolve (1995, 63 minutes).
