The Hillsborough Auxiliary to Peninsula Family Service will host its annual "Jingle and Mingle" event on November 29, 2011, from 10.30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club, located at 701 Madera Drive in San Mateo. Featuring a holiday shopping boutique with specialty items from numerous local vendors, the event will also include a luncheon beginning at 12 p.m. All proceeds from ticket sales and 20% of boutique sales will benefit Peninsula Family Service programs focusing on Community Health and Wellness. This year, the event will also offer participants the opportunity to "Fund a Family," thereby ensuring that families in need will enjoy the holiday season. "We are so excited about our upcoming 'Jingle and Mingle' event," explained co-chair Dana Morse. "It is always fun and well-attended, but this year we have some wonderful changes that will make it even livelier and personalize it as well. We are really focusing on keeping families healthy and happy this holiday season, and our new 'Fund a Family' opportunity will support that effort." Dana will be joined at the event by her co-chairs Katharine Wilson and Joanne Goldstein.
A variety of items will be on offer at the boutique, including merchandise from Books, Inc; Country Faire Candies; Designs by Desarie, Elizabeth Todd Designs, Kiki Bean & Bed Head Pajamas; Lobird; Maison de Belles Choses; MIJA Jewelry; Mindy Rosenberg Designs; and Mon Amie. Polka Dogs, Sassy Saks, Scout Bags, Smathers and Branson, Solvang Bakery, Stella & Dot, Studio Shop Annex, and UB Chic will also take part in Jingle and Mingle.
