Here’s your chance to experience a 70 minute journey through the life of Jimmy Gamble, the self-professed greatest handicapper in the country, as he wrestles with his obsession with playing the ponies. Watch as Bairos does it all in the drama he also directed, captivating the audience with his portrayal of Jimmy Gamble, a man on a mission to reach his ultimate goal of fulfilling his grandmother’s legacy – “Hitting the big one!” Yet along the way while Bairos weaves his dramatic tale, it ever so subtlely – and almost unintentionally - creates a metaphoric mirror for all to see their own obsessions and fixations. When he performed Jimmy Gamble at a theater festival in Chicago this summer, Broadway World called it “riveting” and “breathtakingly great” and said “This is what theater is all about.”
