BAMP Project proudly presents....
Jimmy Cliff
April 18, 7pm
The Waterfront at Aloha Tower
Honolulu, HI
BAMP Project, Hawaii's premier concert production company presents Jamaican ska/reggae pioneer Jimmy Cliff live in concert for one-night-only at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower on April 18.
The reggae legend, winner of multiple Grammy Awards and 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee pioneered the ska/reggae music industry with his hit songs "Sitting in Limbo," "You Can Get It If You Really Want," "Many Rivers to Cross" and his take on Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now."
With a legacy stretching back nearly 50 years, the Honourable Jimmy Cliff is still standing as one of the prime movers and continuing shapers of modern music. Cliff remains a forceful voice of power and conscience, creating new music as vital and vibrant as ever. Most recently Cliff teamed up with producer and Rancid front man Tim Armstrong to create Sacred Fire EP, Cliff's first original material in seven years. The EP debuted late 2011 at No. 1 on Billboard's reggae charts. The duo plan to release a full album expected out sometime 2012.
Cliff is currently touring performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas, will then make a special performance at Coachella before making his Hawaii appearance, he will then tour throughout Europe in May.
Supporting acts for this show are Hot Rain and Saving Cadence.
