Journey through songs in an acoustic style with Jimmy and Enrique, as they play captivating guitar and percussion world music that will grab your soul.
Nationally acclaimed guitarist Jimmy Patton has shared the stage with Grammy award-winning Stanley Jordan, virtuoso rock guitarist Tony MacAlpine, as well as keyboardist Derek Sherinian of Dream Theater. Jimmy also has studied under Fred Benedetti of Benedetti & Svoboda, master guitar duo.
Enrique Platas originally from Mexico City, is an accomplished session drummer and percussionist in both the U.S. and Mexico. Touring and recording with some of Latin America's top producers and pop stars, he actively performs with world music artists here in the U.S. as well. Enrique also recorded for the first Latin American Idol and has opened for Chris Botti and the B-52's.
Seating is limited to the chairs in the room only. Additional parking available at City Hall.
