On October 29 the Buttonwood Tree will present an evening of acoustic music featuring
Mark Mirando and Jim Paradis. Join them as they reach back and perform songs they wrote and shared with their October Moon fans, as well as music from their new CD’s - Mark’s “Now That You Mention It,” and Jim’s brand new release “Almost Home”.
Mark will be playing the songs he has been performing for audiences from New England to Nashville this past year. He was recently featured in a songwriters night at the legendary Bluebird Cafe with some of the music industries most notable talents, Georgia Middleman (“I’m In” by Keith Urban), Jim Photoglo (“Fishin’ In The Dark” by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) and Connecticut’s own Gary Burr (“Loves been a Little Bit Hard on Me, “ What Mattered Most.” ) Mark’s penchant for clever lyrics and the unexpected hook puts him in some pretty lofty company.
Jim will be highlighting songs from his new CD, to be released at this event. “Almost Home” is a chronicle of transition. From the comfort of a childhood cottage near the shore, through the heartache of lost love and on to the hopeful journey home, he will bring you into his world with heartfelt stories and beautiful melodies.
Together their songs, harmonies and musical passions will be sure to make this an evening you won’t soon forget.
