Jim Breuer from "Saturday Night Live," "Half Baked" & "Breuer Unleashed" on XM Radio October 26, 2012

A stand-up comedian since his high school days, Jim Breuer worked in comedy clubs around the country for several years before becoming a regular on the New York comedy club circuit. After being in New York for only seven months, he landed a gig on the nationally syndicated show, "Uptown Comedy Club," where he spent two seasons before joining NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in 1995. Best known for his original character "Goat Boy," and his impression of actor Joe Pesci, Jim spent four years on SNL before starring in the movie "Half Baked" alongside Dave Chappelle and Harland Williams. Later that summer, Jim was asked by MTV to co-host their popular show "MTV's Beach House."

Breur’s numerous television appearances include stints on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as roles in several movies, such as "Dick" (1999) and "Once in the Life" (2000), "Beer League (2006)," and most recently, "The Zookeeper" (2010) with Kevin James.

Jim Breuer pioneered the "heavy-metal comedy" revolution, combining his love of rock 'n' roll with comedy. Backed by a full band, Jim's "Heavy Metal Man" comedy tours featured a mix of routines that have become cult favorites, such as "The Wizard," "Coming Home at 4 AM" and "Party in the Stomach." With great acclaim, this act established him as one of Comedy Central's "100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time."

In 2004, Jim began his career at Sirius Satellite Radio as the host of his own show "Breuer Unleashed." In 2009, the show was revamped as "Fridays with Breuer," which airs every Friday on XM 150 from 4pm-6 pm, with a rebroadcast from 9pm-11 pm.

In 2008, Jim set out for his first tour in over six years. With his 85-year-old father and his film crew, Jim toured the country in tour buses on his "Breuniversity Tour," which included more than 20 colleges, universities, and comedy clubs. The footage that was captured was used for his latest DVD "The Jim Breuer Road Journals," which showcased what life is like on the road with a comedian and his elderly father. The special edition DVD is 4 hours long and is only available at JimBreuer.com and at most venues Jim appears at. Videos from that tour also sparked the making of his documentary, "More Than Me," which was shown at the 2009 Montreal Film Festival.

On July 25, 2009, Jim's one-hour Comedy Central special "Let's Clear the Air" premiered, with hilarious topics that included the definition of “success”, Jim's SNL days, and life with his elderly parents, his wife and his three daughters. "Let's Clear the Air" ranked in as one of the highest rated comedy specials on Comedy Central, raking in 1 million viewers.

Jim continued touring into 2010 while still writing his book, "I'm Not High (But I've Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior)," The book contains stories ranging from his childhood and growing up, to his parents' lives, starting his career, hilarious behind the scene SNL stories, growing a family while on the road, and his future ventures.
