David Vyorst is the producer of the feature film, 'The First Basketball,' about the history of the sport and the Jewish community. He will describe the evolution of basketball from a game played with ash cans on tenement steps by poor immigrant kids, to a global cultural phenomenon that is truly metaphoric of the American 20th century.
