Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia’s 8th International Jewish Film Festival April 29, 2008

The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (JCCNV) is proud to present the 8th Annual International Jewish Film Festival. Truly international, the film festival will feature films from the U.S., Israel, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands and Italy.

The Canadian film, “Steel Toes” is a movie about the provocative exploration of intolerance in our society. A court appoints Danny Dunkleman, a Jewish liberal lawyer, to defend a neo-Nazi on trial for a racially motivated murder. An intense relationship builds as they explore their emotional and intellectual differences. Academy Award nominee David Strathairn gives a riveting performance.
