"Jesus, Booze, and Kwanzaa" starring the Boofont Sisters December 2, 2005

The Boofont Sisters are a one of a kind, "sister" act from Reno, Nevada. These "sisters" have been entertaining audiences for over 9 years with their unique brand of comedy, re-inventing of classic songs, and Broadway caliber performances. The Boofont Sisters serenade the audience with traditional tunes like "Little Drummer Boy, remix" and "Feliz Navidad". Vicky's classic solos include "Suzy Snowflake" and "What are you doing New Year's Eve"; while Ruby sings lesser know tunes such as "The Truth about Christmas". Vicky gets too drunk to stand up and Ruby finds the spirit of Christmas through the bond of sisterhood. The Boofont Sisters bring back to the stage a very special guest: Mink Stole, legendary lounge singer, actress, and John Water's muse. In addition to Mink Stole, "Jesus, Booze, and Kwanzaa" keeps the audienc! e on the edge of their seats with a surprise puppet show and a visit from the ghost of Karen Carpenter.

The Boofont Sisters perform "Jesus, Booze, and Kwanzaa" at the Cavern Club Theater on Friday December 2nd at 9pm, Saturday December 3rd at 9pm, and Sunday December 4th at 8pm.
