Will show Jessica Cook's Paintings on Saturday December 1st from 7-11pm.

Jessica's paintings seem to me like they're made of stuff that's been blowing around in a warm wind. Her fast sketches find just the right important information to bring you close to the subject she's representing. My friend Lesleyanne is the subject of the above painting. Jessica nailed that mischievous look in her eye. And with only a few brushstrokes, like Singer Sergant used to do. Lesleyanne's skin even looks tight like it is in real life but I can't figure out what Jessica did that makes it look like that. Should be a great show.
