Northfield's treasured musical retelling of the Jesse James story.
A rollicking good time for audience and cast alike, this family-friendly show is filled with great songs and dialogue that trace Jesse's life with his beloved wife, Zee, including the famed Northfield Bank Raid.
Performed in the style of turn-of-the-century music hall melodramas, the audience is strongly encouraged to loudly cheer the heroes and hiss at the villains as the story unfolds through comedy and, of course, tragedy.
All previous productions have sold out the entire run before opening night, so patrons are strongly encouraged to buy their tickets early!
Jesse is traditionally performed in September during Labor Day and Defeat of Jesse James Days weekends. Special performances, including dinner theater productions, are also available. Contact the Lockwood Theater Company for further information.
