Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill to Host Live Taping of The Beer 30 Show Pilot Episode January 24, 2011

Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill is set to host the first live taping of The Beer 30 Show, a sports and comedy show in front of a live audience on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. The episode will air in its entirety at The Red Carpet Party at Jerry Remy’s on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

The Beer 30 Show will fill the void of the guy-themed show since the days of “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” and Comedy Central’s “The Man Show.” Beer 30 held open tryouts for the show’s co-host position with a series of competitive events called “The Beer 30 Man-Thelon.” Boston comedian Graig Murphy ousted one hundred and fifty aspiring television talent from across the country to be the new co-host of The Beer 30 Show alongside ESPN Dallas personality RJ Choppy. The in-studio portion of the show featuring RJ and Graig will be taped at Jerry Remy’s that evening.

The Beer 30 Show will blend together stage and skit comedy, combined with guy-themed topics and humor. It will be syndicated on 144 channels in 130 U.S. markets and will reach over 94 million households upon release and test airing. For more information, please visit www.beer30show.com.

Boston comedian Jimmy Dunn will warm up the crowd with a half hour comedy skit before the live taping kicks off with RJ and Graig. And libations will be provided by Budweiser for those who stay for the duration of the event.
