Jen Zias and the Dennis Anderson Quartet at the Willowbrook Ballroom October 7, 2007

Jen Zias and the Dennis Anderson Quartet will perform from 6:30 – 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct 7 at the Willowbrook Ballroom, 8900 S. Archer Ave, Willow Springs. A complimentary swing dance lesson will be given from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., and open dance follows.

Performing in musicals from an early age, Jen discovered such masters as Cole Porter, Rogers and Hart, and the Gershwin Brothers while she was still in high school. After graduating with an honors degree in performance from Penn State, she moved to New Orleans to further her jazz studies.

Since her arrival in Chicago, Jen has performed for audiences with her diverse repertoire. Over the past seven years, she has performed hundreds of times throughout the area as a solo performer and featured vocalist for several of the city's finest orchestras, as well as performances at Chicago Singer Spotlight and Chick Singer Night. Since February of 2005, she has been the featured entertainer every Friday and Saturday in the Palm Court of Chicago's famous Drake Hotel.

General admission is $13. Participants are encouraged to attend in vintage attire, no jeans or gym shoes please. Singles and couples of all ages are invited.
