Jeff Conley and his band, Tin Can Tele, have been mainstays of the indie New England music scene playing venues like The Knitting Factory, Paradise Lounge, The Bitter End and festivals such as EliasFest, The Naukabout Music Festival, & The Higgins Brew Fest along with countless others venues and events.
A Tin Can Telephone is an iconic device that embodies simplicity and creativity though communication. This spirit is what inspired Jeff to develop the sound which drives his performances today. A stripped down combination of roots, rock, reggae, bluegrass and folk seamlessly blend as a unique sound that is both “upbeat” and “mellow” all in one strum. As both a solo artist and as leader of Tin Can Tele Jeff has played from coast to coast and is part of the national songwriters collation ‘Birds on a Wire’. Jeff with TCT shift often its line-up to fit a variety of set types: solo, duo, trio, or full band. This flexibility has provided Jeff with the opportunity to play with a wide range of artists. He is honored to have shared the stage with such acts as State Radio, Ryan Montbleau, The Rustic Overtones, Braddigan (of Dispatch), The Brew, The Old Silver Band, Will Dailey and many others.
Jeff is now touring the North East and other select regions playing: clubs, colleges, ski mountains, coffee shops and festivals, all in support of his new album ‘Tin Can Call’. With the range to play an explosive full band set or to charm and intimate listening room Jeff and Tin Can Tele are a versatile, classic American band.
