Jazz with Scot Crandal June 26, 2010

Scot Crandal is a jazz singer, pianist and composer based in Portland, Oregon.
He performs a wide variety of standards with a rich tenor voice and a melodic jazz piano style. His original compositions combine traditional jazz influences with fresh melodies and lyrics and are performed by a variety of jazz artists.

Scot Crandal has performed with many nationally and internationally known artists such as Bill Berry, Marshall Royal, Gene Harris and RonSteen. He has toured through Germany and Italy and has studied formally with Dan Keberle and Brent Edstrom.

Crandal also actively sings opera and rock. He is currently busy completing Now and Again, an album of original, fresh jazz songs in collaboration with Nancy Jerrick, and preparing the lead role for the world premiere of Queen of Knives, an opera by Eric Stern and Vagabond Opera.
