JAZZ with LAURA CUNARD August 8, 2009

Laura Cunard is one of the most gifted jazz vocalists to emerge from the Northwest in recent years. Laura has an incredibly wide emotional and vocal range, which she can control with pinpoint perfection, on an array of styles such as an up-tempo scat, a sensuous bossa nova or a tender ballad. Laura, like many of the jazz vocal giants such as Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Diane Schuur, is a very accomplished pianist as well. She can accompany herself in a group setting or in a solo format with equal ease.
In addition to performing, Laura also teaches voice and piano. Laura is someone you will be hearing about more in the future.
