Jazz Master Class with Christian McBride November 13, 2010

Bassist, bandleader and composer Christian McBride coaches a series of student jazz combos during his visit to campus this quarter. The ensembles, selected by Stanford Jazz Workshop Director and music department faculty member Jim Nadel, will prepare music to perform for McBride, who will coach the musicians as part of a public master class. Everyone is welcome to observe and ask questions as part of this hour and a half program. McBride's program is part of Lively Arts’ collaboration with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, where he is co-Director.
