JAZZ, HOT DOGS AND STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE IN THE PARK

A jazz festival will be held Sunday, June 29th at 6:00 p.m. at the Gazebo in Falls Park, at the corner of Pendleton Avenue and Water Streets in Pendleton.

Pendleton, IN. -- The Madison County Area Directors Band is the first band performing for the 2008 Music in the Park series, sponsored by the Pendleton Lions Club and presented by the Pendleton Community Library.

The band began as a group that performed at the Anderson City Jazz Festival. With the uniqueness of a jazz band consisting of music teachers, the group continues to have a full performance schedule.

The Pendleton Library invites everyone to head on over to the cool shade trees at Falls Park to say “hello” Pendleton High School Band Director, Chris Taylor, who will conduct the band.

Strawberry shortcake, hot dogs and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
