Jazz at Intersection: Erik Jekabson's West Coast Quartet September 30, 2007

Erik Jekabson explores aspects of the technically demanding modern jazz scene of New York, where he lived for five years, while remaining firmly rooted in the third-stream explorative West Coast jazz tradition pioneered by Dave Brubeck. Having toured with John Mayer, Illinois Jacquet, the Woody Herman Big Band, and the jam-band Galactic, Jekabson also throws in some world, funk and classical influences to a classic jazz ensemble.
