Jazz & Jive at the Waterworks Jazz Club October 1, 2011

Enjoy music you can dance to from Frenchmen Street Jazz Band. No jaunty berets - they're all Englishmen in this band! Led by Chris Pearce on clarinet and saxophones, this 6 piece band includes Tony Davis (ex Zenith Hot Stompers) playing trumpet with Richard Leach (7 Stars of Jazz) on trombone. Live jazz from 8.30pm.
Dance class before the jazz included in admission. Learn some jazz jive steps from Alistair of Strictly Jitterbug - no partner needed. Suitable for ages 18 - 88; come along and have fun. 40 minute dance class at 7.30pm.
Bar, dance floor, small car park. No need to book, pay on the door.
