Jaycees Fit to Lead 5K May 5, 2012

The 2nd Annual Jaycee Fit to Lead 5k run/walk benefiting HOBY-NC East is going to be held on May 5th at 9am at the Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary. 100% of the events profits will go to support the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY NC) for Eastern North Carolina. ...This will be the 23rd year that the Raleigh Jaycees have fun this three-day leadership seminar for high school sophomores from through out North Carolina.

This year's event will be a chip-timed race and prizes will be awarded. Register online at www.sportoften.com beginning February 15th. If you register by April 25th , you are guaranteed a shirt. After April 25th, shirts are not guaranteed. Please tell all your friends and family as this year's event promises to be bigger and better! We've got GREAT raffle prizes that ALL participants are eligible to win, regardless of finishing time (including $100 gift card from the Angus Barn). All registered participants receive a voucher for a FREE scoop of Goodberry's!

The Fit to Lead 5k is a great way for families to come bond and help out a good cause. There will also be a 1 mile fun run at 10:30 am for the children.
