Japanese Tea Ceremony at Hakone Gardens, Saratoga April 16, 2006

Cherry blossoms and wisteria are blooming at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. There will be Japanese tea ceremony demonstrations this Sunday, April 16th hosted by Matsui-sensei --- seatings at noon, 1pm, 2pm, in an authentic tea room at the CEC (Cultural Exchange Center) building. A 3pm seating may happen but is not guaranteed.

Anyone visiting Hakone Gardens is welcome to participate (which includes a serving of "matcha" and a traditional Japanese sweet), with a $5 donation. No reservation needed.
