Japanese Sumi-e Painting September 26, 2009

Learn the basic philosophy behind Japanese style brush-and-ink painting (sumi-e). UNM Continuing Education is offering an entry level class on Japanese Sumi-e Painting, September 26-December 5, on Saturdays from 1pm-4pm. For $130 you will learn the fundamental techniques which are used in all aspects of sumi-e. The techniques are simple, and when put together you will be able to create quality aesthetically pleasing works of art. In this art form practice does indeed make perfect.
