Japanese Style Basketweaving with Donna Crispin March 12, 2007

Weaving with cane, bark and bamboo, participants will explore beginning techniques of Japanese Basketry. Each student will make 4 baskets based upon plaiting, twining and random weave techniques and practice the concept of shibui tasteful restraint, simplicity in their weaving.
