The Matcha season kicks off with DJ Tonk – one of Japan’s most reputable hip-hop producers/DJs – in a rare stateside appearance. Step into the world of manga (Japanese comics) and anime (animation) in the museum’s Manga Lounge, embark on guided tours of the exhibitions Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga and Yoshitoshi’s Strange Tales, participate in a hands-on manga workshop led by Andrew Farago and Shaenon Garrity, listen to a talk on manga, and more.
