Janis Joplin was an American singer, songwriter who rose to prominence in the late 1960s as the lead singer of Big Brother and the Holding Company and later as a solo artist. At the height of her career she was known as The Queen of Rock and Roll. She is widely considered one of the greatest performers of all time. This bio-musical, starring Jessie Rose as Janis Joplin, will feature some of the artists best known hits.
