Jan/Feb exhibitions at artspace January 25, 2013

New exhibitions will be opening at artspace on January 25, 2013 from 7-10pm and will continue through February 17, 2013. "That Elusive Feeling" is a contemporary mixed media show in the Main Gallery incorporating artists from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth alumni and current graduate students. Dave Didra, a graduate student at VCU, will be showing "Recent Work," oil on wood paintings, in the Helena Davis Gallery. Halide Salam, professor of Art at Radford University and contemporary author, will be exhibiting "Voices," paintings and collages in the Frable Gallery. Showing in the Foley Gallery, "Getting There -- New Work for a New Year," Richmond artists present means and methods for new visual inspiration, and the smallspace gallery will have new "Art to Go" by Richmond artists. Perfect for Valentine's day gift giving.
