Acclaimed actress, author and comedienne Janeane Garofalo will return to headline Comix for four shows on April 4th and 5th.
Garofalo, a respected stand up comedian, has earned acclaim from acting in film and television. In addition to 24, she received rave reviews for her role as campaign manager “Louise Thornton” on NBC’s The West Wing. She also received an Emmy nomination in 1997 and two Cable Ace nominations for her role as “Paula”, the acerbic talent booker, on The Larry Sanders Show. She also recently worked for Air America as the co-host of The Majority Report with Sam Seder.
She has had many memorable and critically acclaimed roles in films such as The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Reality Bites, and Duane Hopwood, as well as for her specific brand of sharp wit and comedy shown in her roles in Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, Mystery Men, Clay Pigeons and The Cable Guy.
