South London's Jamie T (born Jamie Treays) set the UK charts ablaze with his insanely brilliant album, 'Panic Prevention.' Earlier in 2007 he performed at Austin's SXSW festival, giving US ears a dose of his catchy, rhythmic spoken tomes on life, love, loss and nights of too much drinking. Canvas Magazine described him as "like the bastard lovechild of Billy Bragg and Mike Skinner doing his best Joe Strummer impression."
