Jamey Aebersold Jazz Ensemble to perform in Vevay
Nationally known saxophonist Jamey Aebersold will perform at the Historic Hoosier Theater, located at 209 Ferry Street in Vevay, IN, on Sat. July 19 at 7 pm.
The moan of Aebersold’s sax and the accompaniment from this Louisville group will rekindle fond memories through favorite tunes cherished by old time jazz lovers.
An authority on jazz education and improvisation, Aebersold was inducted into the International Association of Jazz Educators “Hall of Fame” in 1989. With this honor, he joins other jazz luminaries such as County Basie, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong and others.
