Jamestown, Quebec, Santa Fe: Three North American Beginnings September 22, 2009

This exhibition explores the first permanent English, French and Spanish settlements in the New World. On view ware some 150 European and Native artifacts to illuminate the complexity of European colonization and their interactions with the indigenous population.
