"Ideas that Shaped America". Starring: Bill Barker the Thomas Jefferson of Colonial Williamsburg & John Douglas Hall the James Madison of Montpelier, Madison's historic home. Through the magic of Chautauqua, travel to the White House 200 years ago, to eavesdrop on a debate between Pres. James Madison & his former boss Thomas Jefferson. The audience listens in as the ideas that shaped our government unfold, and then gets to join in the act. Chautauqua: History that just won’t stay in a book!
