James Blunt's musical career came full circle after he finished four years in the British Army. Performing at the 2003 South by Southwest conference, Blunt caught the attention of songwriter/producer Linda Perry, who signed him to her Custard label. 'Back to Bedlam,' Blunt's debut album, scored with the single, 'You're Beautiful,' which initially spent five weeks at number one on the U.K. singles chart.
